We are a Christian homeschooling co-op that meets weekly for enrichment and academic classes. We also get together for field trips, special events, and fellowship opportunities throughout the year.
Where do you meet?
We meet at a host church in Darke County, very near the city of Greenville, OH.
What are co-op days / hours?
We meet about 20 Fridays per school year from 9:45-1pm.
Can I drop my child for classes?
DCCHC is not a drop off program. All students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. All member families participate, either by teaching or assisting in classes and/or organization of the co-op.
What about curriculum?
DCCHC classes do NOT require students to follow a specific curriculum. We have students learning at home in every method from unschooling to online public school. Our classes are led by our member teachers who share their talents and interests. Classes are chosen by surveying members to see what topics they will enjoy.
Can I visit during co-op hours?
Advance arrangements must be made and agreed upon by the Board and teachers for a visiting family to tour classes.
What is the cost?
We do our best to keep membership fees low. Annual Membership Fee is $60 per family. Student and class fees are additional, paid during registration in August to cover books and supplies. Fees cover facility, website management, supplies, and benevolence projects.
How do I become a member?
You may communicate with a board member by clicking Contacts. We are happy to answer your questions!
