Who we are:

DCCHC exists to strengthen our homeschooling community with activities for parents and students.  We meet weekly during the months September through March for enrichment and academic classes, and also for field trips and gatherings throughout the year. We value the gifts and talents of each parent and student to make our co-op experience fun and rewarding. We love that our students and parents have an opportunity both to learn and make life-long friendships in the body of Christ! 

What We Believe:

That the Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God (2 Timothy 3:16).
  • In deity of our Lord Jesus Christ (Colossians 2:9), God's only begotten Son (John 3:16), in His eternal pre-existence (John 1:1), in His virgin birth (Matthew 1:23), in His sinless life (2 Corinthians 5:21), in His vicarious and atoning death (Romans 5:8), in his bodily resurrection (Romans 4:5) and ascension (Mark 16:19) to the right hand of the Father where he reigns as King of kings and Lord of lords forever (Ephesians 1:20,21).
  • That the only means of being cleansed from sin and saved from eternal condemnation is through personal repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12).
  • That God created the universe out of nothing including the creation of mankind whom He made distinctly male and female in His own image and from whom all humanity descended (Genesis 2:1-7;1:26-27).
  • That God has given parents the ultimate responsibility to teach their children in the training and admonition of the Lord and has given them the authority over their children (Deuteronomy 6:6-7, Proverbs 22:6, Ephesians 6:1).
